Prevent Blindness Indiana Volunteers

Prevent Blindness Indiana (PBI) needs volunteer screeners to help detect undiagnosed vision disorders before poor eyesight puts Indiana residents at unnecessary academic or economic disadvantages. Proper vision is not only crucial to the education and development of our youth, but also to the independence and quality of life for our adults - PBI recognizes this need and locates follow-up care for any low income and uninsured referrals, regardless of age or background. Becoming a certified vision screener is free - please inquire or register by emailing info@pbeye.org if you are interested in attending our next volunteer training session at the PBI office on Saturday, February 16, 2008. Training to become an adult screener will take place at 10 a.m. and training for children screenings follows at 1 p.m.
