Meet the Author Volunteers

Volunteers are needed the entire evening and will be able to attend both the presentation and Meet-the-Author reception (complete with the champagne, hors d'oeuvres, and dessert) - free! The entire evening ticket is worth $65. Volunteering makes it free. The Friends of the Library are so glad you are willing to volunteer and we think you'll be glad you did! DETAILS:

-You must commit to the entire time: Friday, Nov 16, 6 pm until 10:30 pm

-You will be able to attend the presentation and reception for free

-You will be assigned specific ushering, serving, and clean-up duties

-You will definitely be able to get to the Buskirk to hear the presentation and have some free time at the reception to meet the author.

- Buskirk requires ushers to wear black pants and a white shirt

- Buskirk requires that you attend an usher training at the theater that evening before the doors open.

-The Friends of the Library will provide attractive nametags - by wearing the tags, you'll help us promote the library and the Friends of the Library.
