Adapted Aquatic Swim Instructors

There's no need to cut back on your pool time if you sign up now to help out with the Adapted Aquatics program at the Monroe County YMCA.

Five volunteers are needed to be trained to work with participants, ages 3 years to adult, who may have physical or developmental disabilities. Instruction focuses on swimming, water safety, social skills and plain old fun. The program meets on Fridays, September 14th to December 7th, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Minimum age for volunteers is 16.
