Asian Culture Center's Moon Festival

Asian Cultures Around Campus presents “Moon Festival” Sponsored by IU Asian Culture Center and Department of Astronomy

Venue: Kirkwood Observatory, (4th street and Indiana, Behind Bryan Hall)

The event celebrates the harvest moon, when the crops have been gathered and heavy work in the fields is over. An Asian Moon Festival is a holiday for family members and friends to get together and give thanks. Come view the moon, have hot tea and moon cakes and have a blast making craft! Asian Cultures around Campus is an on-going series of performances and/or instructional demonstrations featuring student talents as well as homegrown and renowned artists outside of Bloomington. Through these performances and demonstrations, the Asian Culture Center endeavors to bring the Asian cultures closer to the university and Bloomington communities. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
