Therapeutic Riding Program Training

People and Animal Learning Services is offering a new volunteer training on Saturday, September 15th from 1-4 p.m. for anyone interested in becoming involved. Volunteers help children and adults with disabilities learn how to ride horses at the PALS facility on W. That Road.

Responsibilities include leading horses & side-walking with riders during riding lessons. Volunteers also help groom, saddle, train, care for horses and help with barn chores. No horse experience necessary! A commitment of 3-4 hours per week is requested. Minimum age is 14.
