Want to help abused and neglected children in your community?
Try Bucceto's Pizza and Pasta on Wednesday, April 16th between 4pm and close. Mention this when you pay and 20% of your bill will be donated to CASA who advocate for abused and neglected children.

Spring CASA Training
Looking for an opportunity to give back to your community? To make a difference? To use your skills? The abused and neglected children of Monroe County need your help. As a Court Appointed Special Advocate you will help to ensure that the best interests of the child remain the focus of the justice and welfare system. Monroe County CASA volunteers must be age 21 or older, able to travel outside of Monroe County and able to commit to one to two years of service. Training will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to noon, May 7th through June 13th. Application deadline is April 18. CASA Training
The Monroe County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program is seeking new volunteers. CASAs are ordinary men and women from all walks of life who volunteer to advocate, in court and in the community, for children who have been abused and neglected and are temporarily under the protection of the Juvenile Court. Volunteers must be 21 or older, able to travel outside of Monroe County, and able to commit to 1 -2 years of service. Fall training will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6-9 p.m., Oct. 2 through Nov. 8. Application deadline is Sept. 24. For more information contact: 339-1551 or monroecasa@sbcglobal.net.
