Therapeutic Riding Program Training

Find out more about People & Animal Learning Services, Inc. (PALS) at their new volunteer training on Saturday, May 10th from 1-4 p.m. PALS volunteers help children and adults with disabilities learn how to ride horses by leading horses & side-walking with riders during lessons.
Volunteers also assist with barn chores such as grooming, saddling, training, cleaning stalls and caring for horses. No horse experience necessary! A commitment of 3-4 hours per week is requested. Minimum age is 14. For more information, to RSVP for the training or request a

Therapeutic Riding Program Training

People and Animal Learning Services is offering a new volunteer training on Saturday, September 15th from 1-4 p.m. for anyone interested in becoming involved. Volunteers help children and adults with disabilities learn how to ride horses at the PALS facility on W. That Road.

Responsibilities include leading horses & side-walking with riders during riding lessons. Volunteers also help groom, saddle, train, care for horses and help with barn chores. No horse experience necessary! A commitment of 3-4 hours per week is requested. Minimum age is 14.
