Hospice Volunteer Training

Hospice patient care volunteers are needed for Bloomington Hospital's Home Health and Hospice program. A series of 10 training sessions will be held on various dates from October 13th-November 15th to prepare volunteers for their important role on the Hospice care team giving support to terminally ill persons and their families. Prospective volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, have reliable transportation, and be able to commit at least three hours per week for one year. Volunteers are needed in Monroe, Owen, Greene, Lawrence, and Brown counties.
