Rosa Parks will forever be remembered as the civil rights heroine who challenged racial segregation in the 1950s. "The Rosa Parks Story," directed by Julie Dash in 2002 and starring Angela Bassett, paints an intimate portrait of the woman herself. “Her act of courage changed the world,” the film’s tagline says about Parks. “But how it changed her life has never been told... until now.”
